On April 20th, 12 incredible and noteworthy honorees, who were chosen from over 250 of the most accomplished Black healthcare professionals in America, were honored at the 8th Annual Top Blacks in Healthcare Awards Gala. These 12 were honored amongst their peers, and governmental employees.The celebration of Black excellence was held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, DC. The historic day begins with the Thought Leadership Summit with a morning full of thought-provoking sessions ranging from health equity to men’s mental health.
The Awards Gala, hosted by radio and television legend Donnie Simpson, honored those individuals who made made outstanding contributions to healthcare. The award recognized their leadership through the intersection of healthcare advancement and disease prevention. Their vision, superior performance, and commitment to health equity are paramount to moving our community forward.
