120-Pound Weight Loss: “Discipline Beats Motivation”

When it comes to healthy weight loss and weight loss transformations, real ones are hard to come by.

You don’t know what to believe when people are promoting weight-loss teas or whatever programs that don’t show the true results.

That is why when a few of our Instagram fans messaged us with this woman as their #bodygoals, we knew we had to take a deeper look.

The woman has a real body and shares her real-life mental struggle with weight loss that she overcame to lose 110 pounds!

We applaud her not only in her tremendous weight loss transformation but her attitude and poise to help others be healthier.

She looks amazing and has a heart to share.

You can see throughout her posts she drops little nuggets on how you too can overcome what is stopping you from truly living healthy.

“Fitness is a beautiful journey y’all so please enjoy the journey and don’t rush it,” she posts on her Instagram. “Put in the work, be consistent and have patience.”

“One thing I learned during this journey is that ‘Discipline beats Motivation. Discipline is forever but motivation is temporary.

So are you not going to workout on the days you feel less motivated? No!”

“Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps u going.

Sometimes if you make your fitness journey a normal routine like brushing your teeth every morning it makes it easier, since it becomes a part of you.

Make it a habit and when you start to see results, it becomes an addiction.”

“I wanna share my experience on how I built my confidence at the gym,” she posts on Instagram. “My advice for you would be to get a plan by which u follow at the gym.

Once you have a plan, you wouldn’t care too much about who is looking at you at the gym because you would be too busy doing you and trying to better yourself.

Yes, sometimes people feel like they don’t wanna go to the gym because people are gonna be staring.

Let them stare but don’t lose your focus on why you are there.

This was my experience when I started this journey and it worked fine.”

“There is something magical and powerful about writing down your goals, wishes and hopes for yourself, on a piece of paper with your own handwriting and your own energy flowing through the pen into the paper.

Believe me.

I remember last year I wrote down on a little piece of paper that (I Must) weigh 100KG by 2019.

“Please if you are on a fitness journey, try not to get hung up on the numbers so much. Be kind and gentle with your body.”

“My experience with keto: So last year I tried keto, lost about 14kgs / 30LBS under 6 weeks.

However, I also lost my booty gains and started getting hip dips, my skin started to sag (My skin was literally aging before my eyes) and physically I felt weak.”

So I had to stop because I wasn’t happy with what I saw in the mirror.

I’m not saying keto is bad it just wasn’t for me.

Now I’m back to eating a well-balanced diet and slowly getting my curves and booty gains back.”

“Instead, if you switch your focus to being discipline you go out there and get it done because it has to be done.

Make every single day count and always remember, a bad workout is better than no workout.”

“Be greater than your excuses. Train like a beast. Look like a beauty.”
