Chicken and poultry giant Tyson Foods this week recalled nearly 12 million pounds of frozen chicken strips because they might contain pieces of metal, a massive expansion of an original recall of 70,000 pounds of poultry in March.
This is the second major recall of a Tyson product this year. In January, the company recalled 5-pound plastic packages of chicken nuggets because they might have been contaminated with pieces of rubber.
Here are all the recalled packages of chicken that may contain foreign, unedible substances.
The ready-to-eat strips were produced from Oct. 1, 2018 to March 8, 2019 and include best-used dates of between Oct. 1, 2019 and March 7, 2020.

While there have been no confirmed reports of injury or illness from the chicken strips, the U.S. Department of Agriculture did receive two complaints from consumers who found metal pieces in them. If you have any of these products in your freezer, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them.
