Alive! with Damue is a dynamic new health and fitness program by Damue Bagwell designed to help maintain and lower blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes. Damue discovered that he suffered from high blood pressure at the age of 18. He had an unhealthy diet of fried foods and food containing high volumes of salt. Unaware that his diet and high blood pressure were a serious problem, his kidney function went down to 5%.
With Damue’s kidneys functioning so poorly he was forced to undergo dialysis. On September 6, 1993, he was blessed with a kidney from his mother.
As Damue explains, “Getting a second chance with life I felt rejuvenated, but I didn’t see the same joy in my counterparts eyes. I noticed that they had serious depression issues. My social worker would ask me to come to meeting to be an example for others to see that they could live a normal life with a transplant. I always wanted to do something for people with these ailments because I felt their pain.”
So he continued to rack his brain. What motivated him? He loves to exercise. Damue knew God had a special purpose and mission in his life. However it wasn’t until after his health was in jeopardy that he knew God’s plan.
Damue said, “I woke up one morning with an idea to put an exercise video together for people with the conditions I had.”
“They tell people with health issues problems to exercise but they don’t show them how. So I researched and came up with simple exercises to help with hypertension and diabetes problems.”
Damue’s mission is to have products that people can simply put into their DVD players. He is creating a series of exercise DVDs that people can do easily in the comfort of their own home. This gives people a simple solution for a permanent weight loss and increases their life’s vitality and health. Damue is committed to helping people overcome their personal health problems.
