The death was even more hurtful because she was doing so well with her weight loss and had loss over 200lbs her daughter confirmed.

Lisa’s initial weight loss journey started when she hit 704 pounds. That’s when she

reached out to weight loss physician and expert, Dr. Younan Nowzaradan.

After complaining about pain in her leg, her daughter checked and noticed she had maggots in the folds of her skin.

She lost 87 pounds while on a controlled diet at the hospital, but she had a difficult time following the strict diet and gained 29 pounds. She was kicked out of the program and never underwent weight loss surgery.

“Everybody was doing great,” her daughter Danielle Fleming told Radar Online of her family. “She lost 200 pounds. The cause of death had nothing to do with

her weight Opens a New Window. In the end, she was sick and her body was tired and her body just gave out.”

Danielle honored her mother with an emotional Facebook post.

“I am truly at a loss for words right now,” she wrote. “God knows I wanted you to hold on until I got here, but He knew what was best for me. I didn’t need to see you like that Opens a New Window. !”

She continued, “Anybody who knows me knows I gave my mother my ALL. She was my world and I was her #NumberOneGirl. Mommy, I love you from here to the stars and back! I’m happy you’re no longer in pain and stuck in that bed. Y’all pray for me, check on me, come to see about me because I am not ok! I love my mama & I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worse enemy.”
